Weekly Challenge Event Rules
1. Eligibility
The Culinow Weekly Challenge is open to registered Culinow users who meet the eligibility requirements displayed on the challenge page.
Participants must use one valid Culinow account. Multiple accounts created to influence voting or challenge results are prohibited.
2. Challenge Duration
Each challenge will run for the specific period shown on its event page.
The challenge page will display:
- Submission start date and time
- Submission deadline
- Voting start date and time
- Voting deadline
- Winner announcement date
Entries or votes submitted after the applicable deadline will not be accepted.
3. How to Participate
To enter the challenge, participants must:
- Sign in to their Culinow account.
- Open the active Weekly Challenge page.
- Submit an eligible recipe before the submission deadline.
- Provide all required information, including the recipe title, description, ingredients, directions, and image where required.
- Agree to these Event Rules.
Each participant may submit the number of entries specified on the challenge page.
4. Entry Requirements
All submitted recipes must:
- Be relevant to the challenge theme.
- Be complete, accurate, and suitable for publication.
- Include clear ingredients and preparation instructions.
- Use an image owned by the participant or legally licensed for use.
- Respect applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- Comply with the Culinow Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Entries containing illegal, harmful, misleading, offensive, copied, or inappropriate content may be removed.
5. Voting
Eligible entries will be displayed for community voting during the voting period.
Users may vote according to the voting limits displayed on the challenge page.
Participants may share their entry and invite others to vote. However, the following activities are prohibited:
- Purchasing or selling votes.
- Using bots, scripts, automated tools, or artificial traffic.
- Creating fake or duplicate accounts.
- Offering rewards, payments, or incentives in exchange for votes.
- Coordinating fraudulent voting activity.
- Manipulating the voting system in any way.
Culinow may remove suspicious votes or suspend voting privileges where manipulation is suspected.
6. Winner Selection
The eligible entry with the highest number of valid votes at the end of the voting period will be declared the winner.
Only votes verified and accepted by Culinow will be included in the final vote count.
The vote count displayed during the challenge may be provisional and may change following a review of invalid or suspicious activity.
7. Tie-Breaking Rule
If two or more entries receive the same number of valid votes, Culinow may select the winner using one or more of the following criteria:
- Compliance with the challenge theme.
- Recipe originality.
- Recipe completeness and clarity.
- Overall presentation quality.
- Earliest valid submission.
Culinow’s tie-breaking decision will be final.
8. Winner Verification
Before confirming a winner, Culinow may request additional information to verify:
- The participant’s identity.
- Ownership or authorized use of submitted content.
- Compliance with these Event Rules.
- The validity of votes received.
Failure to provide the requested information within the specified period may result in disqualification.
9. Prizes
Prize details, eligibility conditions, delivery method, and any applicable restrictions will be displayed on the relevant challenge page.
Prizes:
- Cannot be transferred unless Culinow approves the transfer.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash unless specifically stated.
- May be replaced with a prize of similar value when necessary.
- May require the winner to provide valid contact or delivery information.
The winner is responsible for any taxes, fees, or legal obligations associated with receiving the prize.
10. Disqualification
Culinow may remove an entry or disqualify a participant for:
- Violating these Event Rules.
- Submitting copied or unauthorized content.
- Manipulating votes.
- Using multiple or fake accounts.
- Providing false or misleading information.
- Harassing participants or community members.
- Interfering with the operation of the challenge.
- Violating Culinow’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
Disqualification may occur before or after the winner is announced.
11. Content Permission
Participants retain ownership of their original content.
By submitting an entry, participants grant Culinow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, promote, and share the submitted content for purposes related to the challenge and the Culinow platform.
Participants confirm that they have all necessary rights and permissions for the content they submit.
12. Challenge Changes or Cancellation
Culinow may modify, extend, suspend, postpone, or cancel a challenge when necessary due to:
- Technical problems.
- Fraud or voting manipulation.
- Security concerns.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
- Events outside Culinow’s reasonable control.
Any important changes will be communicated through the challenge page or another appropriate channel.
13. Technical Issues
Culinow is not responsible for entries or votes that are delayed, incomplete, corrupted, lost, or not recorded because of internet failures, device problems, platform interruptions, or other technical issues.
Culinow may correct technical errors and adjust vote totals when reasonably necessary.
14. Decisions
Culinow’s decisions regarding eligibility, entries, vote validity, disqualification, tie-breaking, and winner selection are final, subject to applicable law.
15. Acceptance of Rules
By entering or voting in a Weekly Challenge, users confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to:

- The Culinow Terms of Service.

- Any additional conditions displayed on the challenge page.
